A Full Scrub

Though this should not happen, you might find that the mixture in the tank has become contaminated. In this case, you will need to perform a Full Scrub of the mixture.

  1. Open manual valves V11, V12, V13 & V14.
  2. Open automatic valves V4 & V5.
  3. Turn on the compressor.
  4. Turn on the fore pump.
  5. Turn on the turbo pump.
  6. Let sit for 2-3 hours.
  7. Close V13.
  8. Let sit until P3 reads $ <10^{-3}$ mBar. This will push the mixture back into the storage tank.
  9. Close V4.
  10. Turn off compressor, fore pump and turbo.
  11. Close V14.
  12. Close V5. enumerate

    At this point, the mixture should be locked in the storage tank, V13 & V14 closed. All the pumps turned off. All the automatic valves closed.
